Maian Events is an online web calendar written in PHP, which you can include in your existing web site.
Using the integrated 1-click free scripts installer, the Elefante Installer, you can easily get Maian Events installed at your FreeHostia web hosting account. In just a few minutes you can get Maian Events working and integrate it within your existing website.
Maian Events allows you to add, delete and edit events. It supports BBcode, which is also supported by other popular PHP based scripts (for example the phpBB2 and phpBB3 forums). When there is an event, the date is highlighted in the calendar. You can set a start date and an end date to each event.
The themes are XHTML/CSS based and could easily be edited to customize the look of the calendar and integrate it with the design of your web site.
You can allow users to post comments to each event and there is a CAPTCHA integrated within the form to prevent SPAM. You can also attach up to four pictures to each event.
