PHP-Fusion – yet another CMS
PHP-Fusion is a light-weight content management system CMS. It is written in PHP and uses a MySQL database to store data. On FreeHostia’s web servers PHP-Fusion works great and it is very fast.
All web hosting users can install PHP-Fusion directly from within their web hosting control panel, thanks to the integrated 1-click installer, Elefante Installer. To install PHP-Fusion you first need to create a database in your MySQL Databases section and then go to Web Tools > Elefante Free Scripts to install PHP-Fusion. The entire installation is web based and requires no special technical skills.
With PHP-Fusion you can create a variety of websites, as it has all basic features known from other content management system. You have user registration and interraction through comments and personal messages, there are many modules, which you can use to structure your content – News, Articles, Forums, Gallery, Polls and more. Everything is managed through a web-based administration panel.
You can extend the basic functionality of PHP-Fusion by installing “infusions” – these are components/plugins, which add certain functionality to the system, like a newsletter, a guestbook and many more.
