Now you can register .fr domains!

FreeHostia has added yet another TLD to the long list of available domain extensions. You can now register .fr domains for $29.00 / year with FreeHostia. With all hosting plans we now offer .fr domain registration.

Everyone can register a .fr domain, there are no restrictions with regards to nationality. There are a few specific things about .fr domains, namely:

- you can only register a .fr domain for one year (and then renew it for one year at a time)

- there is no WHOIS / ID protection for .fr domains

- there is no registrar-lock
