4images – web gallery
4images is one of the gallery scripts available to all FreeHostia web hosting users, thanks to the integrated 1-click free scripts installer, Elefante Installer, which every hosting user can find on his web hosting control panel. With the Elefante Installer you can install 4images and other free open-source PHP scripts with ease and best of all – it is free and no technical skills are required.
With 4images you can create a photo gallery with albums and sub-albums and upload photos for your website visitors to view, rate and comment on. 4images allows users to register in your gallery and comment photos, rate them and even upload their own photos. The gallery administrator can manage users, albums and photos through a user-friendly admin panel.
Photos are also uploaded through a web browser-based interface but ther is also an option for batch upload via FTP available to the administrator of the gallery.
4images is free and open-source, it is a PHP-based application that requires a MySQL database. It works smoothly on FreeHostia’s web hosting server and it is available to free hosting users and paid hosting users to install directly from within their web hosting control panel.
To personalize 4images you can upload templates or edit the default one.
