About two weeks ago we started a domain promotion and lowered the price of domain registrations/transfers to $9.95 (previously $19.95). Today was supposed to be the last day of the promotion. Due to the enormous interest and continuing our efforts to please our customers and listen to your comments and suggestions, we have decided to extend the promotion indefinitely.

Domain Promotion extended, domain price remains $9.95

Domain registrations, transfers and renewals now cost only $9.95/year, which competes very well even with low-cost domain registrars. We encourage those of you who haven't taken advantage of the domain promotion yet, to register their new domain with FreeHostia and benefit from the many features and advantages of the brand new Domain Manager, which we presented to you last week. It gives you full control and provide you with all tools necessary to easily and effectively manage all of your domains under a single interface. It includes features like domain parking with ready-to-use templates, custom DNS records and private DNS records of the kind ns.yourdomain.com, domain locking, multi-year registration and renewal etc.

There are good reasons to transfer your domains to FreeHostia

Many of you host their domains with FreeHostia, but have them registered elsewhere. If you are paying more than $9.95/year for your domain elsewhere, we encourage you to transfer your domains to FreeHostia. The price is just one of the reasons to transfer your domain. It is much more convenient to manage your domains and your web sites under the same control panel and with our new Domain Manager, it is now even easier to manage multiple domains under the same account. You can order a domain transfer from the Register/Transfer tab on the Domain Manager or use the domain lookup form on the left side of the web hosting control panel. Keep in mind that when you transfer your domain, we renew it for another year too!
